Words from me...7 years ago......
So tonight I decided to surf through my old Myspace account that I can’t delete…no matter how many times I try…it won’t shut lol. On there I found a blog piece I wrote a few years back. Why I wrote it I don’t remember…maybe it was something I did for a now older and mature me, and some how words that do apply now that I have experienced different scenarios….
“God is known for working in mysterious ways. We encounter several obstacles in our brief life time. And it is important we learn from both the good and bad things we come face to face with. That we never take for granted life’s lessons. We must also remember that when one door closes another opens. Sometimes we tend to stare too long at the door that has shut close in front of us, not realizing another has opened. And there will be times where WE will be the one standing behind a door, waiting for someone to come our way, and if we are lucky, the right person will open it. But until the day that happens, we were put on this earth to meet the wrong people, so that when we do meet the right persons we will know how to hold them close to our hearts. We will know how to draw them near because we have learned what we want and what we must do without. But we must be subtle, and able to compromise, because to love someone is to never be selfish. Love will leave us feeling several different ways, it will be both the best and at times, the most painful feeling. However, if ever you should find it, even if it was for such a brief moment, to know it was there will last a lifetime. It will be one of the greatest souvenirs we will ever find, no matter how sweet or bitter an ending.  Cherish life, grasp it all and make use of all that comes your way, so that when you have one of those nights where you contemplate of all the things you have done you will know you didn’t waste a single moment. Never regret ANYTHING. You are who you are, and only those true will respect that. Our lives will constantly change, but for the best. There maybe even a day where WE will change because of someone else, but only because they will bring out the best in us. They will be the reasons for our pasts and why we worked so hard for our future. For that is Fate.”
